Counseling and Educational Experience:

Graduate Student Counselor, Western Washington University. Part-time position for counseling racticum credit, 2009. Duties: Counseling individuals, couples, and families. Clientele includes

children, adolescents, and adults with a range of presenting problems. Clinic Director: Diana Gruman, Ph.D.

 

Advocate, North Coast Rape Crisis Team. Part-time volunteer position, 2007. Duties: provided support and resources for survivors of sexual assault, including 24-hour availability for crisis intervention by phone and accompaniment to medical examinations and court hearings. Program Director: Maryanne Hayes.

 

College and Career Advisor, California Student Opportunity and Access Program. Part-time position, 2004-2005. Duties: assisted disadvantaged high school students to explore college and career choices utilizing career skill inventories and in-class presentations; provided academic tutoring and one-on-one help with college and scholarship application process. Elementary School Tutor, California Student Opportunity and Access Program. Part-time position, 2004-2005. Duties: tutored students on assigned homework, supervised activities to develop language and math skills. Program Director: Brady Wells

behavioral health facility to develop their social skills and prepare them for reintegration into
