Krista is compassionate, empathic, flexible, and able to work effectively with clients and families both in and out of crisis. She prefers strength based, solution focused and client-centered approaches to counseling but is comfortable working within the context of other models as well. Her work focuses on supporting and empowering the youth, adults and families she serves to successfully face and overcome the challenges life may bring in ways that promote enhanced communication skills, improved relationships, improved functioning and a positive well being. She works collaboratively with those she serves and has had many successes reaching resistant and ‘stuck’ clients. The relationship Krista has with others is one of her greatest strengths; she has a great sense of humor, is down to earth, and easy to approach.
