Counseling Profile

Professional and Educational Background

Jordan Feigal, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, received his MS in Psychology: Mental Health Counseling from Western Washington University.  He utilizes a client centered approach as his foundation for counseling while incorporating elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, guided imagery, existential therapy, family therapy, and play therapy depending on each client’s wants and needs.  Jordan has a clinical practice serving children, adolescents, adults, and families after working in a variety of capacities in community mental health agencies in Bellingham and Mt. Vernon.  Jordan also has experience working in residential treatment for adolescents in St. Paul, MN.  Jordan strives to help his clients achieve the change they would like to make, working within the unique framework that each client presents.  He believes that engaging in counseling can foster rewarding and valuable outcomes for clients of every age, while knowing that the path to change can be difficult to navigate at times.  His compassionate and respectful approach to psychotherapy provides clients a safe, comfortable mental and emotional space to explore and create change.  Jordan has worked in the mental health field for over nine years.
