Professional and Educational Background

Jayme D. Fergoda, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, received her Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Southern California and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Vanguard University; a Christian based liberal arts institution in California. Jayme is a doctoral student in clinical psychology at Seattle Pacific University and is teaching at the Bellingham Campus of Trinity Western University. She has further training in the areas of psychological evaluations and psychological test administration. Jayme is familiar with issues surrounding adoption, foster care, and parenting. She has facilitated Child Abuse Prevention Training, Parent Education Classes, Co-Dependency Recovery Groups for adults and an Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity/Social Skills Group for children. Jayme has worked with adults/children suffering from renal disease and with kidney transplant recipients at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. She has also worked in rehabilitation with adults who sustained brain injuries and cerebral vascular accidents or strokes.


Jayme spent a year in
Provo, Utah as a psychology intern working at Wasatch Mental Health and was previously employed at Catholic Community Services in the Children’s Hospitalization Alternative Program. Jayme has worked with families in medical and outpatient settings for seventeen years.
